However, the dynamic and evolving nature of #GenAI technologies means that maintaining this confidence requires continuous learning and adaptation.

Societal Impacts and the Call for Regulation

Leaders are acutely aware of the broader societal impacts of GenAI. A significant portion of respondents (51%) expect #GenAI to increase economic inequality, highlighting concerns about its potential to concentrate power within the global economy. This has led to a strong consensus (78%) among leaders for the need for more governmental regulation and global collaboration to manage the development and deployment of AI technologies responsibly.

Only 25% of respondents consider their organizations well-prepared in these aspects.
